Tour Plan
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be welcomed by a Meru Slopes transfer driver and taken to Arusha. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure, allowing you to relax and unwind. In the evening, you will attend a briefing in preparation for the upcoming safari. Your stay in Arusha includes meals on a half-board basis.
After breakfast in Arusha, you will drive heading to Tarangire. The driving takes 2-3 hours approximately. Then reaching the park, you will proceed for a full-day game drive at Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. Later in evening, you will start driving for 30-45minutes to your hotel in Karatu city/ within a park for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will drive heading to Serengeti passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will reach Serengeti around lunch time, then after lunch proceed with evening game drives. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs and mountains. Here, the biggest wildebeest and zebra migration takes place and depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals in their search for food and water.
After having evening game drives, you will drive to your camp/lodge for overnight stay and dinner.
After having the breakfast at the camp/lodge, you will head out for a game drive in the Serengeti until lunch time. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard before embarking on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves, offering you an uninterrupted game-viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite amount of animals. You will spend the night at lodge directly on the crater’s edge, with the orange glow of sunset surrounding you as you drift off to sleep.
After an early breakfast, we will depart from our lodge for a drive via the Rift Valley to the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Highlands. We will have a scrumptious lunch at the picnic site before enjoying more game viewing in the crater. In the afternoon, we will leave the crater and drive up the steep, winding track on our way back to Arusha.
Experience Tanzania's natural environment during this all-day trip to Materuni and a Coffee Farm Tour. It is perfect for adventurous, cultural, and active travelers in the area. Take a hike to the Materuni Waterfalls and stop for a swim afterwards. After that, visit a nearby farm to discover more about Tanzania's coffee sector. After refreshments, you will drive to the airport for departure or back to Arusha, depending on your schedule.
