I honestly don’t even know where to start because our honeymoon in Tanzania was beyond anything we could have imagined. And I can confidently say that choosing Meru Slopes was one of the best decisions we made.

We organized everything directly with Leonard, and from beginning to end, the entire trip was absolutely flawless. We booked an all-inclusive luxury safari, and everything was fantastic — beautiful accommodations, amazing food, great service, and not a single thing we had to worry about.

We started with a lovely stay in Arusha and a really interesting town tour before heading off on our six-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater.

But the real highlight of this entire trip was our guide, Jacobo. And I genuinely cannot stress enough how incredible this man is at what he does. His knowledge, experience, and ability to find animals are on a completely different level. At some point, we started joking that he must have some kind of secret agreement with the animals because there is no other explanation for how much we managed to see.

We saw absolutely EVERYTHING on our bucket list. All of the Big Five and all of the Ugly Five, not just once, but multiple times, often ridiculously close. And the best part? After talking to other travelers throughout our trip, we realized that what we had experienced was far from ordinary. People were excited about seeing one leopard or a lion in the distance, while we had already lost count of some of our sightings. No exaggeration, I think we saw more wildlife in six days than I’ve seen in years of watching National Geographic.

And can we also talk about the fact that we had cold beer and wine available during our game drives? Because honestly, sitting in the middle of the Serengeti, watching wildlife with a cold drink in your hand is a level of luxury I didn’t know I needed in my life. Such a small detail, but it made the experience even better.

There wasn’t a single day that disappointed us. Every game drive somehow managed to be better than the previous one, and every time we thought we’d seen it all, Jacobo would find something else that completely blew our minds.

I honestly cannot imagine doing this trip with anyone else. Leonard took care of every detail, and Jacobo made sure we experienced Tanzania in a way we will never forget.

If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, do yourself a favor and book with Meru Slopes. And seriously, ask for Jacobo. I don’t know what kind of magic this man has, but you definitely want him behind the wheel.

Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We would do the whole thing again tomorrow without thinking twice.

Our honeymoon was organized by Meru Slopes, and we had worked directly with Leonard. We had an all inclusive tour with the most comfortable luxury accommodations, fantastic food and most of all with probably one of the most experienced guides in Tanzania - Jacobo.
We spent out first days in a lovely hotel with a very comprehensive town tour in Arusha. Then Jacobo took us on the 6 days tour around Tanzanian Safaris, we visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, we are happy to say that it was flawless, we managed to see everything on our bucket list, and even after discussing with other travelers we realized we have seen way more than most of other groups that visit the park! Completely unforgettable full of positive emotions and definitely we can brag that National Geographic didn't show as much as we have seen with Jacobo!! 5 out of 5 for Big 5 and Ugly 5, and we have seen each of those animals more than once up close, as close as you can possibly get based on the park's regulations!!! Highly Recommended Safari Experience with Meru Slope

I was extremely satisfied with my recent 9D8N safari trip.

Guide Rashid was outstanding — professional, knowledgeable about the wildlife, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic. He consistently positioned us in the best spots for excellent animal sightings, often getting us very close. Even with just my iPhone 16 Pro, I was able to capture beautiful photos.

Sales Shadrack was equally excellent. He responded quickly to all my questions and offered helpful suggestions throughout. The accommodations were nice. Overall, I was very happy with the itinerary and arrangements.

We had the most wonderful safari trip imaginable (8 days). The experience was great, we had a very experienced guide, Max, who showed us the best parts of Tanzania wildlife. We saw three river crossings, three times lions attack other animals, and of course the big five. I found Meru slopes because a friend also had booked a trip with them and he was very positive. Can only agree with him, our trip was amazing as well :) only tip I have is that you might want to check the food if you are vegetarian or vegan, most of the time it’s fine but for me lunch went wrong one time (after that Max was paying more attention to it to make sure it was correct the days after).

Excellent ! I left a lengthy review on Trip Advisor also because this company was incredible. The Safari was run professionally, we saw Central and Northern Serengeti and Ngorongoro, the Big5 and the Wildebeest migration amongst countless other animals.
The Toyota Land Cruiser we used was in great condition, the driver was knowledgeable and professional, the food we ate was tasty, simple and healthy. The campsites had adequate toilets and showers. My liaison from the company arranged airport transfer the day after we finished at no extra cost. Everyone who worked for the Meru Slopes was kind, calm, professional, knowledgeable and hard working. We had no issues on our entire trip, and we spent A LOT of time on game drives compared to other companies. El pasado mes de agosto hicimos un safari en privado con ellos. En líneas generales la experiencia fue buena, tanto antes de llegar como una vez allí, nuestro contacto fue Leonard y nos gestionó el itinerario tal como nosotros habíamos pedido. Los alojamientos fueron adecuados, sobre todo el del Serengeti que fue una maravilla. Sin embargo, el lado menos positivo fue que el guía que nos tocó no estuvo a la altura de lo que un viaje así requiere, ya que es la persona con la que vas a compartir 5 o 6 días enteros del viaje y tiene que hacer la experiencia inolvidable. No voy a dar detalles ya que en su momento lo comenté con Leonard, que en todo momento estuvo predispuesto a preguntarnos y a escuchar nuestros puntos de vista y nuestras quejas. Además, cuando ya teníamos que volver a España (y fue una semana después de haber hecho el safari ya que regresábamos desde Zanzíbar) tuvimos un problema con los vuelos de vuelta y Leonard se ofreció a ayudarnos, aunque finalmente no lo necesitamos, le estamos muy agradecidos por ese gesto. En resumen, Meru Slopes es una empresa 100% fiable para hacer un safari en Tanzania, te harán el viaje a medida, los hoteles que incluyen están muy bien, la comida es buena ya que comíamos caliente y no cajas de picinic como vi de otras empresas, pero el guía debe de estar a la altura para que el viaje sea inolvidable. Como último consejo, os animo a todos aquellos que queráis hacer un safari, que penséis en la vida de los animales salvajes, vamos a visitarles a su casa y no todo vale para estar al lado de ellos, hay que respetar su hábitat y hacer un turismo respetuoso si queremos generar el menor impacto posible en su ecosistema, que aún ya haciendo todo eso, el impacto del ser humano en ellos es demasiado grande.

Nous avons vécu une expérience fabuleuse avec Meru slopes.
Du début jusqu'à la fin nous avons eu une très bonne prise en charge.
Kelvin avec lequel j'ai échangé en privé par message s'est montré très à l'écoute et arrangeant en nous offrant une nuit en plus a cause de changement d'horaire d'avion.
Grâce à notre excellent guide Samwel,nous avons pu voir beaucoup d'animaux, le big five et bien d'autres permettant a mon amie de réaliser le rêve d'une vie.
Il a été parfait du début à la fin du séjour.
Les logements étaient très agréable ainsi que tous les hôtes qui nous ont reçus.
La nourriture est excellente.
Nous avons vu plusieurs danses masaï, c'était aussi très sympa.

Words cannot truly describe our incredible safari experience....We had been planning this trip for almost a year, and Jerome from Meru Slopes guided us throughout the process with immense patience, answering every question and ensuring everything was meticulously planned....

Despite a few challenges along the way, everything came together beautifully...🤍🤍🤍 From airport transfers and delicious halal food arrangements to our city tour, every detail was seamlessly executed. Whenever we had a concern, it was addressed promptly.🌟

A special mention to our wonderful guides, Rasheedi and especially Jacob, who accompanied us for most of our safari. Jacob was truly the highlight of our journey! Patient, knowledgeable, entertaining with our children, has exceptional driving skills, speed and safety at its best—he made the long road journeys enjoyable and comfortable.

Thanks to his experience, planning, and connections, we witnessed incredible wildlife, saw the Big Five, and most importantly, experienced the Great Migration from what felt like the front row 🌟✨️

From enjoying lunch under the tree in the middle of Serengeti to countless unforgettable wildlife encounters, this was truly an epic family adventure!🎉🎉

We have never been so sad to return from a vacation. Tanzania stole a piece of our hearts, and we are already hoping to return for another magical experience.🥹

We had an amazing experience with Meru Slopes and I would definitely recommend them!

From the very beginning, Gift was helping us through WhatsApp and was always very kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us organize everything before the trip. It made us feel very safe and well taken care of.

Our guide, Joel, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable, attentive and, most importantly, really wanted us to have the best experience possible. He was always looking for animals and explaining everything to us. We saw so many incredible things during the safari, and I honestly think having a good guide makes a huge difference — and Joel was definitely a great one!

Our cook, Buga, also deserves a special mention. The food was much better than we expected for a camping safari! Every meal was delicious and he always prepared everything with so much care.

Another thing we really appreciated was that our time in Arusha before and after the safari was included in the package. They picked us up at the airport, took us back after the trip, and everything was very well organized. We also had a guide take us around Arusha and show us a little bit of the city, which was a really nice extra.

Overall, we felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The whole experience was much more than just the safari itself. It was organized, safe, fun and full of amazing memories.
