Learn About Us
Every season reveals a different side of Tanzania. Discover the best time to witness the Great Migration, encounter incredible wildlife, climb Mount Kilimanjaro, or unwind on Zanzibar's pristine beaches.
Over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born on Ndutu's sweeping grasslands in one of nature's most extraordinary events. Predators converge in abundance lions, cheetahs and hyenas deliver breathtaking sightings on every game drive.
February is Tanzania at its most raw and dramatic. The southern Serengeti teems with newborn wildebeest as lions, leopards and cheetahs hunt in superb numbers. Unrivalled big cat encounters guaranteed in the world's greatest predator arena.
As the long rains arrive, Tanzania transforms into a vivid emerald canvas. Tarangire's legendary elephant herds swell to hundreds while Manyara's flamingos paint the lakeshore pink shared with far fewer visitors than peak season.
April rains sculpt Tanzania into a photographer's paradise. The Ngorongoro Crater floor blooms with wildflowers and Nyerere Game Reserve offers the most exclusive game drives of the year virtually no other vehicles in sight.
May is Tanzania's best-kept secret. Ruaha, Africa's largest national park reveals its vast wilderness to those who seek the road less taken. Game is superb, lodges offer exceptional value, and the solitude is absolute and restorative.
The legendary march begins. Vast columns of wildebeest and zebra push north through the Western Serengeti, and June heralds the first dramatic Grumeti River crossings. The greatest wildlife show on Earth begins its most thrilling act.
July delivers the iconic Mara River crossings in full force. Hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra plunge into crocodile-filled waters in a breathtaking display of survival instinct. Pure drama in its most unfiltered, legendary form.
August is Tanzania's golden month arguably the finest safari month in Africa. The migration storms the Northern Serengeti while Zanzibar offers flawless dry-season beach conditions. Combine both for the ultimate Tanzanian experience.
September's extraordinary golden light bathes the Serengeti at sunrise and dusk. The far northern reaches near Lobo and Klein's offer intimate migration sightings far from any crowds — every game drive feels like a private expedition.
As wildebeest turn south and the first short rains freshen the plains, October delivers one of Tanzania's most underrated safari months. Cheetahs emerge on the open grasslands in exceptional numbers Africa's fastest animal at its most visible.
November's rains breathe life back into Tanzania's iconic landscapes. Tarangire's baobab-studded plains host Africa's largest elephant concentrations while over 300 bird species make this month a birder's paradise of rare and extraordinary delight.
Celebrate December in the world's finest setting. Wildebeest gather on Ndutu's plains ahead of calving season while Zanzibar's white-sand beaches offer an exquisite festive escape. Safari by sunrise — sundowners on the Indian Ocean at dusk.

🇹🇿❤️+0Posted on Google![]()

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience from start to finish! Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt very well looked after throughout the entire trip. A special shout-out to Johann, our fantastic cook, who prepared delicious meals every day. The food was genuinely one of the highlights of the safari! And a huge thank you to Daniel, our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He made the safari so much more special with his expertise and passion, and we learned so much from him. Leonard, our organizer, also did a great job coordinating everything and making sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better team or a better safari experience. Highly recommended! 🐘🦁🌿+3Posted on Google![]()

An absolutely unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania! We visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide Jacob was fantastic — very experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife. His knowledge of the parks and the animals made the experience even more special, and we had some incredible wildlife encounters that we will never forget. The organization, communication, transportation, and choice of accommodation were all excellent. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Posted on Google![]()

Great Migration, Ngorongoro-Krater und Lake Manyara ausgesucht.

Serious concerns about wildlife protection I chose Meru Slopes because I specifically wanted to support a local Tanzanian company. Unfortunately, my safari in Serengeti left me deeply disappointed and concerned—not only about this operator, but about wildlife tourism and enforcement in Tanzania more broadly. We witnessed a mother cheetah with three cubs surrounded by more than 20 safari vehicles. Vehicles were speeding, leaving designated tracks and stopping just 1–2 metres from the cheetahs. Our own vehicle came dangerously close to hitting them, as did others. The mother became visibly distressed, and everyone in our vehicle was shouting and upset. The next day, our vehicle nearly hit a serval. We avoided it only because the passengers screamed when we realized the animal was about to be hit. Later, another safari vehicle struck a zebra, leaving it bleeding beside the road. What disturbed me most was the apparent indifference toward its suffering. I insisted that we contact someone who could help. Later, our guide told us he had called a “zoo” that would take the zebra and help it recover. Because of the language barrier, I cannot verify who he contacted or what happened afterward, so I do not want to make accusations. On our way back to Arusha, our vehicle also struck a dog and continued without stopping. I have done safaris in Kenya, including the Masai Mara during the same month three years ago. I saw significantly more wildlife there, but what struck me even more was the difference in enforcement: guides respected wildlife and park authorities appeared to enforce the rules. I cannot scientifically prove that the lack of enforcement is why I saw fewer animals in Serengeti, but the contrast was striking. I currently cannot recommend Tanzania for safari to travelers who care deeply about wildlife welfare. I sincerely hope the authorities impose meaningful measures regarding speed, off-road driving, vehicle congestion and wildlife protection. Tanzania’s wildlife deserves better.Posted on Google![]()

We had a great time during our 6 day safari with a lovely tour guide and chef. The only thing is: we don‘t know why they are still doing the safari to Lake Manyara, because it is almost completely flooded (no more flamingos). The pictures that are advertised are not up to date!Posted on Google![]()
