Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park
  • Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2-3 hrs).
  • Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and the iconic baobab trees.
  • Picnic lunch inside the park.
  • Evening drive to a campsite near Tarangire for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park
  • Early breakfast, then drive towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
  • En route, see Maasai villages and wildlife such as zebras and wildebeests migrating.
  • Afternoon game drive in Serengeti’s vast savannah, famous for the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo).
  • Dinner and overnight at a camping site inside Serengeti.
Day 3 Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
  • Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, home to cheetahs, hyenas, antelopes, and massive herds of wildebeest.
  • If traveling between July and October, witness the Great Migration in the northern Serengeti.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild.
  • Dinner and overnight at the same Serengeti campsite.
Day 4 Serengeti nationa Park – Ngorongoro Crater
  • Early morning game drive in Serengeti to catch predators hunting.
  • After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Descend into the world’s largest unbroken caldera for a spectacular game drive.
  • Late afternoon drive to a campsite near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Ngorongoro – Maasai Village – Arusha
  • After breakfast, visit a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about their culture, dances, and lifestyle.
  • Engage in activities like milking cows, fire-making demonstrations, and visiting a Maasai boma.
  • Drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
