Day 1 – Arrival in Nairobi

Your safari begins upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where you are warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is reserved for relaxation after your international journey, allowing you to settle in and enjoy the comfort of your surroundings. In the evening, you receive a short briefing about your upcoming fly-in safari, preparing you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 – Fly to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve. The flight offers stunning aerial views as you head into Kenya’s remote northern frontier. Upon arrival, your safari begins immediately with a game drive through the reserve’s rugged and semi-arid landscape.

Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx, as well as predators such as lions and leopards. The Ewaso Ng’iro River attracts a variety of animals, making wildlife viewing both exciting and diverse.
