Tour Plan

Day 1: Arusha → Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area)

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu region. Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive across the vast plains, searching for migrating herds and resident predators.

The Ndutu area is famous for the Great Migration calving season (January–February), when thousands of wildebeest give birth daily. This abundance of newborns attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering dramatic wildlife encounters.

Day 2: Southern Serengeti → Karatu

Start your day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Explore the Ndutu plains once more, following the migration and observing predators in action.

After lunch, depart the Serengeti and drive Karatu, a peaceful town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Relax at your lodge and prepare for the next day’s crater adventure.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This volcanic caldera supports an incredible density of animals, including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor before ascending and returning to Arusha, where your safari ends.
