Tour Plan

Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be greeted by a driver from Meru Slopes, who will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to relax and explore at your leisure. In the evening, you’ll attend a tour briefing to prepare for the upcoming safari adventures. Your accommodation will include full-board meals.

Arusha is a vibrant town full of life, offering a mix of bustling markets, fascinating museums, and excellent restaurants, along with delicious street food. Simply watching the lively street scenes can be a fascinating experience in itself. By the end of your time here, you may find that Arusha becomes one of the unexpected highlights of your safari.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and begin a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once you arrive, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park's wildlife. In the evening, we’ll transfer you to Osupuko Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans 2,800 km². The park gets its name from the Tarangire River, where many animals gather to drink. Key highlights of the park include a wide variety of wildlife, such as elephants, lions, leopards, pythons, and notable tree species like the iconic baobab tree.

After breakfast, you’ll journey towards the fertile highlands, where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, coffee, and corn. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop to admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

As you explore the Central Serengeti, you’ll experience one of the top wildlife destinations in northern Tanzania. The Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife populations, offering excellent opportunities to spot big cats. The area is also dotted with iconic acacia trees and boasts vast, sweeping horizons that stretch across the Serengeti plains.

There’s no better safari destination than the Serengeti, home to rich wildlife and famous for its big-cat sightings. The park’s landscapes are equally remarkable, with acacia trees scattered across the expansive savannah, creating a truly unique safari experience.

The entire day is set aside for a game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti is an abundant wildlife habitat, such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is more well-known for its annual migration of herds of zebras and wildebeest. The rainfall determines the time of the year when the animals migrate and vary yearly. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. They return to the north during the extended rainy season from April to June. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking nearby.

After an unforgettable day, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll set out for another thrilling game drive in Serengeti National Park. During the drive, you may have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—before continuing on your journey toward Ngorongoro Crater. The animals here roam freely across the open, unfenced reserves, providing an authentic and uninterrupted wildlife experience. Upon reaching the edge of the crater, you’ll catch a glimpse of the stunning scenery that awaits you the next day—sparkling streams, expansive grasslands, and a vast array of wildlife. In the evening, you’ll arrive at Suricata Boma Lodge in Mto wa Mbu, where you can unwind and fall asleep to the soft orange glow of the setting sun.

The breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater's edge reward early risers! After a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and the most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. It is 610m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best wildlife-viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. You might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass with a bit of luck. After the game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Kibo Palace Hotel.

After breakfast, we will take you to Arusha Airport and take your flight to Zanzibar.

Zanzibar Stone Town is a fascinating place to visit. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this absorbing port town was once the hub of a trade network that extended across the Indian Ocean to Persia, India, and beyond. Stone Town's rich and varied pedigree is reflected in the distinctive architecture of the multi-story coral stone houses that line its alleys, as well as the cosmopolitan feel of the local Swahili culture.

Today, you will spend most of your time chilling and taking a good moment to enjoy and relax at Zanzibar beaches.
Visitors love Nungwi, which has one of the most beautiful beaches on Zanzibar Island. Nungwi is also a top spot from which to watch the sunset. This was a major boat-building center where they once made the traditional wooden sailing boats called dhows. You can learn about turtle conservation while you're here.

You'll spend time discovering new worlds when we take you snorkeling. The colors and marine life can be extraordinary underwater. We'll take you out there so you can see for yourself.

After breakfast at around 7:30 am, you will be picked up by your guide from the hotel to Stone Town.

During your Stone Town tour, you’ll encounter numerous historical sites that narrate this intricate history. The Old Fort, constructed in the late 17th century to fend off Portuguese attacks, stands as a reminder of the town's tumultuous past. Today, it functions as a cultural center, hosting art exhibitions and performances that celebrate Zanzibar's heritage. Another notable landmark is the House of Wonders, formerly the palace of Sultan Barghash, which now serves as a museum detailing the history of Zanzibar and its people.

There's so much to enjoy about a boat excursion to Changuu Island. The island itself, with its well-preserved late-19th-century quarantine center and open-air sanctuary protecting a group of giant tortoises introduced from the Seychelles. Then, finally, tides and weather permitting, swimming, snorkeling, and a seafood barbecue on a narrow tidal sandbar known as Nakupenda Island. It's a great day out!

Today will be a sad day for everyone because it will be time to say goodbye to each other. We believe that our team has left a place in your heart with wonderful memories to take home. You will be taken to the airport at your preferred time.
