4 Days Mid-range Lodge Safari Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara

We will pick you up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM and take you on a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Located 115 km from Arusha and spanning an impressive 2,800 sq km, Tarangire draws its name from the life-giving Tarangire River. You’ll spend the day on thrilling game drives, exploring landscapes teeming with wildlife. Highlights include large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and elusive climbing pythons. You might also spot predators like lions and leopards. In the evening, you will arrive at Marera View Lodge, where you can unwind with dinner and enjoy an overnight stay of Midrange Lodge Safari.

After an early breakfast at 6:30 AM, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exploration. This day focuses on spotting wildlife, including the Big Five, and observing a variety of bird species, such as the striking pink flamingos. Lunch will be served inside the crater, allowing you to enjoy its breathtaking scenery. Formed 2 to 3 million years ago, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive and intact volcanic caldera, recognized as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders in 2015. Expect to see diverse wildlife, including over 7,000 wildebeests, 6,000 black-spotted hyenas, and 4,000 zebras. After an unforgettable experience, you’ll return to Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will journey to Lake Manyara for a full day of game drives. This park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and colorful flamingo population attracted by the lake’s algae, offers unique wildlife encounters. You will also visit a local hot spring, adding another layer of natural beauty to your safari experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai Boma, where you will learn about Maasai culture, traditions, and way of life. Later, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay of Midrange Lodge Safari.
