Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your safari guide, and transfer to your hotel in Arusha for a briefing and relaxation before the adventure begins.
Day 2 Arusha to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Depart early for a scenic drive to Ndutu via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at the crater viewpoint before continuing to the vast Ndutu plains for an afternoon game drive, where large herds of wildebeest and zebras roam.
Day 3 Full-Day Game Drive in Ndutu
Spend the day exploring the migration hotspots of Ndutu, witnessing thousands of wildebeest calves being born and the heightened predator activity, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas taking advantage of the abundance of prey.
Day 4 Full-Day in Ndutu
rack the movement of the migration with morning and afternoon game drives, visiting Lake Ndutu, the Hidden Valley, and marsh areas while observing dramatic predator-prey interactions and enjoying a sundowner in the wilderness.
Day 5 Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After a final morning game drive in Ndutu, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the world’s largest unbroken caldera for an exciting game drive in search of the Big Five, and enjoy a picnic lunch before heading to Karatu.
Day 6 Return to Arusha – Departure
Drive back to Arusha with an optional cultural visit to a Maasai village or the Shanga Foundation, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight
