Continuing on, we will travel to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday. Serengeti, which means "endless plains" in the Maasai language, is the largest park in Tanzania, offering a variety of landscapes, including grasslands, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. Depending on the time of your visit, you may witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of migrating animals in search of food and water.
After an exciting game drive through the park, we will take you to the Serengeti Serena Lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
The entire day will be dedicated to thrilling game drives in Serengeti National Park. Known for its rich wildlife, Serengeti is home to a variety of animals, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is most famous for the annual migration of massive herds of zebras and wildebeest. The timing of the migration varies each year, depending on rainfall patterns. In November and December, the animals travel from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains, and they return north during the rainy season from April to June.
In addition to the migrating herds, there is a chance to spot predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, all of whom remain ever watchful for an opportunity.
After an exhilarating day of wildlife exploration, you will return to your accommodation for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
