Overview
Every year, vast herds of wildebeest undertake a long-distance migration synchronized with rainfall patterns and grass growth. After the short rainy season in November, the herds arrive on the nutrient-rich, short-grass plains of the Serengeti, particularly around Ndutu and the northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area, east and south of Seronera. Here, wildebeest and zebras can be seen grazing, with most wildebeest calving around February. They typically remain in the area until April before beginning their westward migration toward the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park.

Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a thrilling game drive across the vast plains, home to big game and predators. followed by dinner and overnight stay.
After a hearty breakfast, depart the camp with a boxed lunch in hand for a full-day game drive exploring the Great Migration in the southern Serengeti and northern Ngorongoro/Ndutu Area. Pause for a bush lunch in the afternoon before continuing the drive until sunset. Return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
On Day 3, begin with an early game drive in the Ndutu area before returning to the lodge for lunch. Check out and enjoy a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Upon arrival at the Lodge, check in, savor dinner, and relax for an overnight stay.
Start the final day with an early breakfast, then descend to the crater floor for a game drive to spot the “Big Five” and other wildlife. Enjoy lunch at a swamp-side picnic site, watching hippos swim. Afterward, ascend to the crater rim and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
