Your trip begins with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar to the airport. Youโll board a direct flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti. This flight is typically a scenic 2-hour journey, offering spectacular aerial views of Tanzaniaโs landscapes, from the Indian Ocean coastline to the vast plains of the Serengeti. The flight will land at Seronera Airstrip. A private safari vehicle with a professional guide from Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris will be waiting for you. You'll get started exploring the Serengeti.
After a full-day game drive, you'll return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a relaxing night's sleep.
After an early breakfast, you'll start your safari with a picnic lunch by following the migration. The wildebeest migration is one of the worldโs greatest wildlife spectacles, offering thrilling moments of nature at its most raw and dramatic. Whether you're witnessing a river crossing, watching newborn wildebeest take their first steps, or simply taking in the endless horizons of the Serengeti plains, itโs a safari experience like no other.
