Tour Plan

On your first day, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and head straight to the Serengeti. The name Serengeti originates from the Maasai word Siringitu and means โ€œendless plains.โ€ You will see why the Maasai gave this region this name as the grassland savannah
stretches to the horizon in the south and is only interrupted by the so-called kopjes. These kopjes
are bizarre rock formations formed by the weathering of granite outcrops. The plains are the
perfect hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats, and you will have a good chance to view
these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat through the open roof of the vehicle. In the
afternoon, you will reach your destination for the day, the Seronera Valley in the Central
Serengeti area. You will camp for the night and stay in safari-styled tents, enjoying a good meal
in the middle of the African bush.)

Overnight: Sightseeing Luxury Tented Lodge

After breakfast, your journey continues with a game drive across the Serengeti National
Park. In the Seronera Valley, youโ€™ll encounter vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, along
with frequent sightings of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Following a picnic lunch, the
drive takes you toward the Ngorongoro Crater. As you arrive at the rim, the breathtaking
caldera unfolds before you, offering a spectacular view of this natural wonder. Youโ€™ll
spend the night camping on the craterโ€™s edge, enjoying the sweeping scenery as the sun
sets.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the
worldโ€™s largest unbroken caldera, it offers extraordinary wildlife diversity. Across the
grasslands and acacia woodlands, youโ€™ll encounter nearly all species of the East African
savannah, with the exception of topis, Masai giraffes, and impalas. Itโ€™s common to spot
the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard within just a few hours. Later in
the day, you will be driven back to Arusha, where youโ€™ll be taken to your own
accommodation or directly to the airport for your departure.
