Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Departure-Return

Morning: Departure from Arusha

7:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Arusha in a private, comfortable vehicle. Enjoy a scenic 2-3 hour drive through the Tanzanian countryside en route to Tarangire National Park.

Mid-Morning: Arrival & Game Drive

10:00 AM – Arrive at Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population. Begin your safari, spotting herds of up to 300 elephants, along with lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and wildebeests.

Lunch Break

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park, enjoying a packed lunch amidst breathtaking landscapes.

Afternoon: Wildlife & Birdwatching

1:30 PM – 4:00 PM – Continue exploring, witnessing diverse wildlife gathering at the Tarangire River. Spot over 550 bird species, including the Masai ostrich.

Return to Arusha
