6 Days Joining Group Safari Wildebeest Migration

After breakfast, the journey continues toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This drive takes around 6-7 hours, but the stunning landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way make the journey exciting. A picnic lunch will be provided en route before reaching Central Serengeti (Seronera region). Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive. The day ends with a delicious dinner at a tented camp inside the Serengeti, where you can relax under the star-lit African sky.

This day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti and tracking the Great Wildebeest Migration. Depending on the time of year, you may witness different migration events. From January to March, the migration is in the Southern Serengeti, where over 500,000 wildebeests give birth in a short period. From June to October, the migration moves towards Western and Northern Serengeti, where you can witness dramatic river crossings at the Grumeti or Mara Rivers, with crocodiles lurking in the water. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the wilderness, offering uninterrupted views of the vast plains. This full-day game drive provides unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities, including predator-prey interactions. After an action-packed day, you will return to your camp for a relaxing evening by the bonfire.

The morning begins with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, one of the best times to witness predators in action. After breakfast, you will continue exploring different regions of the Serengeti ecosystem, searching for the Big Five and other rare species. A picnic lunch will be served before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with an optional stop at a Maasai village to learn about their fascinating culture. Arriving at Ngorongoro Crater rim, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the crater before checking into your lodge or tented camp for the night.

Early in the morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to over 25,000 animals, the crater offers exceptional wildlife viewing, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and hyenas. Its enclosed ecosystem creates an ideal habitat for predators, making it one of the best places to witness the dynamics of the African savanna. A picnic lunch will be served within the crater, allowing you to dine amidst stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. After lunch, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant cultural hub, where you can explore local markets, banana plantations, and meet skilled artisans. The evening will be spent at a the lodge near the town, offering a peaceful retreat after an eventful day.

On the final day, you will enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park . After the game drive, begin your return journey to Arusha (approximately 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), marking the end of an unforgettable safari experience.
