6 Days Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara Mid-range Lodge Tour

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am, then enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park (115 km from Arusha), which covers an area of 2,800 km². Upon arrival, you'll embark on a full-day game drive in this unique park, renowned for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and the opportunity to spot climbing pythons. You’ll also see predators like lions and leopards, along with a variety of other wildlife. The park’s name comes from the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink. After the game drive, head to Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After waking up and enjoying a full breakfast, you’ll pack your luggage into the safari jeep and embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti National Park. You’ll enjoy lunch on the go inside the jeep as you drive.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and a glimpse of the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. By around 3:00 pm, you’ll arrive in Serengeti.

In the evening, you’ll embark on a game drive through central Serengeti, where you can enjoy the sunset while spotting wildlife. After the game drive, head to Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge inside the park for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Major  attraction  in  Serengeti  are  endless plain  and   great Serengeti wildebeest migration     which  involve 1.5 herbivores and followers, predators  use  to  move   from one area to another   almost  all   parts  of  Serengeti   because of  drought. Our driver guide will make sure you will able to see   part of wildebeest migration.   The movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti's wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant's gazelle, Thomson's gazelle, eland and impala you will be able to see them      in Serengeti.

Wake up at 5:45 am for an early breakfast, and enjoy the stunning sunrise inside Serengeti. After breakfast, embark on an exciting early morning game drive, which will continue until around 11:30 am. You’ll then return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your belongings into the jeep.

Following lunch, continue your game drive through Serengeti while heading toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, check in to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Wake up around 5:30 am for breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Here, you’ll have the chance to see all of the Big Five, along with a variety of bird species, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater while taking in the stunning landscapes and observing large concentrations of flamingos.

After 6 to 7 hours of exploring the crater floor, begin your ascent and stop by the campsite to pack your luggage into the jeep, ready for your drive back to Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Later in the day, experience a walking tour through the Mto wa Mbu village, where you’ll interact with locals, explore banana plantations, and even sample some traditional food. This cultural experience gives you a glimpse into the local way of life.

On this day, you’ll head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Inside the park, you’ll be able to spot the famous tree-climbing lions and witness large flocks of flamingos attracted to the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring, adding to the diversity of the park’s landscapes.

In the same day, you’ll visit a Maasai Boma, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe how the Maasai people live, learn about their traditions, and immerse yourself in their unique culture.

Later, you’ll drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on your incredible day of wildlife and cultural exploration.
