This 4 Days of Joining Group Camping Tour takes you to Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater, offering an incredible wildlife experience. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” Ngorongoro Crater is home to the black rhino, while Tarangire National Park is famous for its elephants, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife like climbing pythons, lions, leopards, and more. In just a short time, you’ll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at either Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city, where you will stay overnight.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast, we will depart from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 AM and take a scenic three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. There, you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s rich landscapes and wildlife. In the evening, you’ll head to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
About Tarangire National Park: Located 115 km from Arusha, Tarangire National Park spans 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a crucial water source for wildlife. Highlights include a large elephant population, baobab trees, and the unique climbing tree pythons, alongside sightings of lions, leopards, and other wildlife.

Day 3: Full Day at Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, at 6:30 AM, you’ll have breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, you’ll have the chance to observe all of the Big Five, alongside numerous bird species and the rare black rhino. Lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings and flamingos by the lake.
About Ngorongoro Crater: Spending a full day in the crater allows you to fully appreciate this natural wonder, which is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. It formed 2 to 3 million years ago from a volcanic eruption and was named one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders in 2015. Wildlife statistics in the crater include over 7,000 wildebeest, 6,000 spotted hyenas, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 elands, 3,000 gazelles, 300 elephants, more than 55 lions, and around 30 black rhinos, along with numerous smaller species like antelopes, jackals, and hippos.

Day 4: Lake Manyara and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, we’ll proceed to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive. Known for its tree-climbing lions and dense flamingo population, the park also features a unique hot spring. Additionally, you’ll visit a Maasai Boma to experience traditional Maasai culture and way of life. Afterward, we’ll drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay, concluding the 4 Days of Joining Group Camping Tour.
