4 Days Safari in Ndutu
4 Days Migration Safari in Ndutu
Overview
4 Days Safari in Ndutu, Every year, vast herds of wildebeest undertake a long-distance migration that coincides with the annual rainfall patterns and grass growth. Following the short rainy season in November, the herds of wildebeest arrive on the short-grass plains of the Serengeti. These plains are located to the east and south of Seronera, around Ndutu, and the northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, herds of wildebeest and zebra can be seen grazing on the nutrient-rich grasses. Notably, the majority of the wildebeest calve around February. They typically stay in the area until April before starting their westward migration toward the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park.
